Who am I?
Hi my name is Louis and I graduated from the National University of Singapore, School of Computing. I am currently pursuing my MBA with Nottingham University at PSB Academy.
Work
I have not done any work related to programming since 4.5 years ago. Majority of my experience resides in the field of Organization Development where I provide project support and consultancy expertise to a number of Singapore-based clients. I am pretty familiar with topics like Performance Management and the Business Excellence criteria, among other competencies.
Although I have not been involving myself on very hands-on programming, technological advances and market have always been in my blood. As I will most probably be embarking on my mini-retirement for the next 2 years or so, provided there are good reasons why I have to continue doing so, I’m getting myself inducted with wordpress theme development to complement my interest in web design and desktop publishing. I use quite a bit of Photoshop and Illustrator during my free time now.
Leisure
I love fingerstyle guitar and I normally dedicate a few hours every week to arrange songs and melodies. I’m almost self-taught and due to my limited knowledge and exposure in scales and chord families, quite a number of my arrangement is in the key of C-major which I guess, is the key that all aspiring guitar players have to know (and that includes me).
I own 4 guitars at the moment. 2 of them are with me here in Singapore, a folk guitar and a classical guitar. The other 2 were left behind in Indonesia and that includes a classical and an electric (bought it in 2003 to get a feel of playing an electric which in my opinion – boring – if I don’t play in a band or something)
If you are around Singapore and you feel like I can contribute my skills in one way or another or if you wanna talk to me about fingerstyle guitar, I’d love to talk to you. I’m a novice but I ask a lot of questions and I’d love to hear your advice.

Equipments
I perform my work on my macbook and that includes all the youtube recording. It’s speedy at 2.4 Ghz and 4 Gb of ram. It’s also hooked up to a 20″ Samsung widescreen for all my work and entertainment. Bottom line, I’m still a pretty techie person and all questions on tech stuff are definitely welcomed.
What this blog is about AGAIN?
This blog is just an online representation of myself and perhaps, a good avenue for friends to know more about me. Majority of the posts will revolve around my thoughts on organization development, lifestyle, guitar and some tech news here and there. Again, just a personal blog.
